Integrated Youth Outreach Team

Works with youth under age 25, providing integrated service by working with social workers and other partners. Focuses on providing youth with hygiene products, harm reduction supplies, safer sex kits, safe using kits, as well as Naloxone kits. Supports youth with advocacy, access to resources, and emotional and social support. Also provides services to youth who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, in particular, youth transitioning out of foster care. Helps youth access rental housing in the private market, through support services such as referrals to housing options, information on other housing subsidies, housing search assistance, and rent supplements. Serves Vancouver. Funded by Vancouver Coastal Health, City of Vancouver, and BC Housing as a Homeless Prevention Program (HPP).
