The Connect Parent Program offers a ten-week course for caregivers of pre-teens and teens in Langley and Aldergrove who are facing behavioural and/or emotional challenges. Parent-Teen Mediation/Parental Support Program provides short-term conflict resolution and one-on-one support for families in crisis to prevent breakdown. Family Strengthening Program offers strengths-based, short-term support for families that have an open Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) child protection report with low to medium protection risks identified. The Family Development Response program helps families manage safety concerns in cases where Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) has received information that indicates a child's safety is compromised. Services by referral from MCFD. Youth housing and transition services include Transitional Supports that help youth who are unable to live at home prepare for independent living, education, and employment as they exit MCFD care. Pre-Transition Support assists youth who are struggling with their living arrangements and have little to no supports relocating to Langley; serves youth under the age of 16 years old, who are couch-surfing, and/or at-risk of living on the streets. Also offers youth justice services. Referral required from MCFD.
