Intimate Partner Violence and Risk Assessment Unit

Teams consisting of community counsellors (employed by Family Services of Greater Vancouver) and Vancouver Police Department (VPD) detectives provide investigative follow-up, emotional support, and advocacy to victims of high-risk domestic violence. There are also VPD officers who deal with criminal harassment, stalking cases, and elder abuse. Available to provide case consultation and training to workers in the field of family violence. Hours are 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
