Kettle Drop-in Centre

Offers recreational, social, and life skills community integration programs for individuals with a mental health disability, including a women's group. The women's lounge offers a safe place and social connection for those who identify as women. There is a computer room for use by members. Hot showers and laundry facilities are available. A hot lunch with snacks, fruit, tea, and coffee are served at 11:30 am daily; cost is $1 for mental health consumers. Coffee is free. A tax clinic is available for low-income, homeless, and/or marginally housed individuals with ID, tax slips, and any relevant receipts; drop by the second floor on tax clinic days during March and April. Hours are 1 pm to 4 pm Tuesdays; it's recommended to arrive at 12:30 pm. A membership is required to access all services; membership intake hours are 2 pm to 4 pm Wednesdays. Drop-in centre hours are from 8:30 am to 6:45 pm Monday to Friday and 10 am to 5 pm weekends and holidays. Services may be available in Punjabi or Spanish, depending on staffing; does not have access to a language interpretation service.
