Service Description

Operates 132 semi-independent living units which provide subsidy and community living support for people with a mental health disability, and 18 semi-independent units which provide a more intensive level of support. The Supported Independent Living (SIL) program is designed to help adults with serious and persistent mental illness live independently in subsidized market rental apartments. Provides personalized support, regular visits, help establishing goals and building life skills, and referrals to community services. Referral required from Vancouver Coastal Health's Mental Health and Substance Use Supported Housing Services (MHSUSH).
