Provides supportive housing to 11 self-identified women with children impacted by abuse suffered in intimate relationships. Staff are on site seven days a week, between eight and 10 hours each day. Services include accompaniment, activity groups, advocacy, childcare for appointments, emotional support, group support for children, group support for women, one-to-one support, parenting support, and information and referral. ID is not required. Referrals are accepted primarily from first stage transition houses. Length of stay ranges from three months to two years. Rent is charged. Pets are not allowed, and house is not wheelchair accessible. Office hours are 9 am to 7:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by BC Housing.
