In-patient, bed-based treatment program for men ages 19 and over who are experiencing problematic substance use or internet/gaming addiction. Minimum program length is 90 days, and long-term stays are up to 12 months. Uses an integrated-community social model with an emphasis on group and peer interaction, extensive use of written exercises, and some group, individual, and family counselling. Family program is available to current clients; services include accommodation in family suites, parenting groups, couples counselling, education, and social activities. Offers aftercare groups and services, as well as access to transitional and semi-independent living residences for up to two years after treatment. Medical detoxification is available. Smoking is not permitted. Methadone and suboxone are permitted, but resident must be under a physician's care. Open referral. Intake screening hours are 7 am to 7 pm, seven days a week; rapid intake (within 24 hours) is available to those who qualify. Fees are $350 per day; accepts clients funded though Fraser Health, Income Assistance, as well as private pay clients. Service is provided in English; clients may bring own interpreter. Licensed by BC Ministry of Health and Fraser Health as a Specialized Care Facility.
