Letwilc Ren Semec Centre
Provides cultural components, safe housing, and programs to strengthen wellness, recovery, and reintegration into the community for individuals ages 19 and up recovering from substance use disorder. Priority is given to Aboriginal clients from the Interior. Clients must have completed substance use treatment. Services include accommodation, two meals per day (dinner and lunch), individualized care plans, recreational activities, and transportation to program activities and medical appointments in Williams Lake. Programming is client-focused and includes 12-step programs, healing circles, and more. Accepts clients on methadone or suboxone maintenance therapy who meet requirements. Clients may stay up to six months. Application packages are available on the website. Referral required from a recognized referral worker. A screening and assessment process is required for intake. Fees for services may apply. Partnership between Interior Health, First Nations Health Authority, and Esk'etemc First Nation.
