Living Options
Offers a range of living options to support people who have a developmental disability to maximize their independence and participate as fully as possible in the community. Referrals are made through Community Living British Columbia (CLBC) or Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). Supported Living provides assistance based on service plans developed for each person; individuals may live alone and receive support with household tasks or may live in supported homes with live-in staff. The Cluster Program provides support from staff during the day, for individuals who live in their own apartments and do not require assistance overnight. Home Living Options provides 24-hour staff support to individuals who choose to live with three to five people in a group home. Home Sharing provides a supportive living experience for individuals who live with a contractor matched to best suit their needs. Also operates a Children's Residence to provide support and relief services for families of children up to age 19 who have a developmental, physical, or sensory disability. Office hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
