Maple Ridge Treatment Centre (MRTC)

Offers an intensive residential treatment program for men 19 years of age and older, who are managing substance misuse. Men must be five days free of any mood altering substance. Program is either four weeks or seven weeks, and is structured as a group therapy model with a variety of workshops as well as recreational opportunities. Sessions focus on fostering connection, building supportive relationships, and developing coping strategies and skills for recovery. Also offers an alumni group for past and current participants; meetings take place weekly. Unable to accept men with sever mental illness that impedes ability to participate. Referral required from a health professional, probation or parole officer, Fraser Health Community Substance Use Service, or Fraser Health Mental Health Centre. Wheelchair accessible.
