Service Description

Provides therapy services for a wide range of concerns including, child, youth, adults, seniors, couples, and families. Therapists are trained in a variety of therapeutic disciplines. Clients must be seen for an intake process to determine if JFS is the most appropriate resource for the client's stated needs. Fees are on a sliding scale ranging from $30 to $110 based on income. Low-cost counselling is available to low-income individuals up to age 65 who are unable to afford subsidized programs. The Intern Counselling Clinic offers counseling by interns completing their graduate degrees in counselling. Students are supervised by experienced clinicians. The fee is between $10 to $20 per session. Clients may be seen for up to 16 sessions in both services.
