Provides a range of health care and support services for adults age 19 and over with mental health and/or substance use issues. Services include assessment, treatment, counselling, education, and referral to community resources. Also provides counselling to individuals who are concerned about someone else's substance use. In addition, provides access to other specialty substance use and mental health services. Accepts referral from self or other. The Rapid Access Clinic (RAC) walk-in clinic offers single session drop-in services for mental health and substance use issues between 10 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday; drop-ins only, with arrival recommended before 1:30 pm. Serves Chemainus, Cobble Hill, Cowichan Bay, Duncan, Fanny Bay, Honeymoon Bay, Kuper Island, Ladysmith, Lake Cowichan, Mill Bay, North Cowichan, Shawnigan Lake, Thetis Island, and Youbou. Intake and office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday; walk-in hours are 10 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday.
