Service Description

Provides eligible Indigenous individuals with access to free counselling services from a qualified mental health provider. Administers access to coverage and determines eligibility for four programs: Mental Wellness and Counselling Program, Indian Day Schools Health Support Services (IDS HSS), Indian Residential School Resolution Health Support Program (IRS RHSP), and The Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Health Support Services (MMIWG HSS). Non-status individuals are eligible for some programs. Services not listed as a benefit may be covered on an exceptional basis; call for more information. Office hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
