Service Description

Multidisciplinary team provides individual and group mental health rehabilitation services to adults with serious and persistent mental illness. Services include psychiatric assessment and treatment, individual and group therapy, and rehabilitation services. Rehabilitation involves skill development, coaching, education, and mentoring in areas such as home management, community living, interpersonal relationships, illness and self-management, volunteering, returning to school, work, recreation, and leisure. Services may involve the client's significant other/family if appropriate. Referral required through Access and Assessment Centre (AAC), physician, psychiatrist, or nurse practitioner. Serves adults ages 19 and up living in South Vancouver, south of 41st Avenue from Boundary to Granville, and south of King Edward Avenue west of Granville. Free interpretation service is available for various languages. Access and Assessment Centre (AAC) phone line hours are from 7:30 am to 10 pm daily; AAC walk-in hours are 7:30 am to 9:30 pm. Administration hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
