Mental Wellness Services

Provides a range of health care and support services for Splatsin Band members with mental health and/or substance use issues. Addictions Counselling offers drug and alcohol education, drop-in short-term counselling and referrals to treatment. Registered Clinical Counselling is for registered status members ages 14 years and up who live on reserve. Offers assessment, advocacy and counselling support for historical trauma, residential school experience, childhood trauma, grief and loss, and post-traumatic stress. Provides referrals to treatment. Registered Child and Youth Clinical Counselling is for registered status children and youth ages five to 18. Offers assessment, advocacy and counselling support for post-traumatic stress, autism spectrum, grief and loss, behavioural challenges, individuals with fetal alcohol syndrome disorder, eating disorders, and residential school inter-generational survivors. Open referral to all services. Serves Enderby. Funded by First Nations Health Authority (FNHA).
