Provides social, recreational, and educational activities for adults 55 years and older, including instructional and special event programs and outings. Services are offered on an ongoing basis and include a diabetic support group, hearing clinic, blood pressure clinic, holistic health services (hand and foot treatments, massage, reflexology, therapeutic touch, and energy healing), and income tax clinics. Centre hours are 6 am to 10 pm Monday to Saturday, and 7 am to 9 pm Sundays. Registration call centre hours are from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday. Also offers a Meals to Go progam which provides refrigerated and frozen prepared meals for all ages. Meals including entrees and soup, available at reduced member pricing. Menu will be posted daily at minorucentre.ca/cafeteria; call Seniors Services to order and pay. Service is available from 8:30 am to 2 pm Monday to Friday.
