24-hour emergency shelter for self-identified women, with or without children, who have experienced violence or who are at risk of violence of any kind, including physical abuse, emotional abuse, sexual assault, or child sexual abuse. Accepts male children up to age 18. Services include short-term supportive counselling, information and supports for decision-making, and referrals to other community services. Personal ID is not required. Wheelchair accessible. Cannot accommodate pets on-site, but pets can be fostered at SPCA. Funded by BC Housing.
