Provides free and confidential harm reduction services from North of the Malahat to Oceanside, including Lake Cowichan, Duncan, Ladysmith, Nanaimo, Parksville, and Qualicum. Provides harm reduction supplies, along with harm reduction education and referrals to health, mental health and substance use, and other social supports. Sharps disposal, distribution of safer injection, safer inhalation and safer sex supplies, along with health information to reduce harm. Offers point of care rapid HIV and hepatitis C (HCV) testing. Provides Take Home Naloxone Kits (Narcan) and training. Health outreach hours are 2 pm to 8 pm Tuesdays in the Cowichan area; 1 pm to 7 pm Mondays and 12 pm to 7 pm Thursdays in Parksville; and 3 pm to 8:30 pm Wednesdays, and 2 pm to 9:30 pm Fridays in Nanaimo/Ladysmith area; text or leave a message for a call back, or call during hours given to arrange a confidential meeting.
