Provides individualized settlement support to immigrants and refugees with complex needs. Case managers support with accessing essential services, finding housing, improving language skills, and building community connections. Services include one-on-one case support, settlement information and counselling, life skills, practical assistance and supported access to other community services including: home outreach, short-term/crisis counselling and wellness support groups. Participants must be a permanent resident, protected person, or an individual selected to become a permanent resident (with a letter required); not open to refugee claimants until their claim is accepted. Serves Surrey and North Delta. Services are provided in English as well as in Arabic, Dari, Farsi, Kurdish, Nuba, Pashto, Russian, Somali, and Spanish. Referral accepted from community partners with screening required prior to admission; referral form found online. Funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
