Provides community policing services for the Nanaimo region, including Block Watch. Educates the public on distracted driving, speeding, auto theft prevention and safety, and other safety initiatives for children, youth, adults, and seniors. Conducts surveys, participates in community events, reports suspicious activity, and provides a visible presence in the community. Road safety educational activities and initiatives are in partnership with Insurance Corporation of BC.
