Provides inpatient substance use management, detox, and treatment, as well as mental health assessments, for youth ages 13 to 18. Focus is on addiction, with support for concurrent mental health concerns. Programming includes individual, family, and group support. Also offers a voluntary seven-bed residential program with one youth detox bed that supports youth withdrawing from drugs and alcohol through a trauma-informed, harm-reduction, and multidisciplinary approach. Provides opioid agonist therapy (methadone and buprenorphine/naloxone) to those with opioid use disorder. Based on the client's goals, also provides education, assessment, recovery plans, support, and referrals to community and treatment centers. Multidisciplinary team includes psychiatrist, psychologist, general practitioners, youth counsellors, and school teachers. Accepts referrals from Northern Health Mental Health and Addiction programs, physicians, community programs, family, as well as self-referrals. Hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday.
