Brings awareness to the issue of poverty and assists homeless and vulnerable populations by providing support, outreach, and community inclusion services. Drop-in services include coffee and juice; snacks; dinner at 5 pm Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; dinner at 4 pm Fridays; showers; laundry facility (minimal fee for laundry soap); internet work stations; DVD rentals (minimal deposit fee for first-time renters); free local and long-distance phone use; emergency clothing and hygiene products; harm reduction kits; socialization; and one-to-one support. Also provides advocacy, referrals to community services, court support, and Community Living BC (CLBC) programs. Hours are 9 am to 6 pm Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays; and 9 am to 4 pm Wednesdays and Fridays.
