Service Description

Offers supportive transitional housing for adults of all genders; accommodation is divided into four female beds and 21 male beds. Serves individuals who may be homeless or at risk of homelessness; who are completing an addictions recovery program; needing support due to emotional or mental health issues; struggling with interpersonal or societal issues; integrating into society after incarceration; unemployment or unemployable; and wanting to learn new skills. Stay is three months minimum preferred, with a maximum of up to two years. Individuals work one-on-one with advisors to develop a personal plan involving employment skills training, job searching, skills assessments, goal setting, housing assistance, life skills training, and relationship counselling. Residents have their own bedroom, share common areas, and access to laundry facilities. Alcohol and drug use is not permitted on site. Wheelchair accessible. Pets considered on a case-by-case basis. Intake is ongoing. Accepts referrals from self or others; application form can be found online. Housing charge is shelter portion of income assistance or 30% of earned income.
