Outreach Program

Service for women 18 years and older who have experienced abuse in relationships. Outreach focuses on providing practical assistance and emotional support based on individual situations and needs. Services include individual and group support, safety planning, practical supports such as advocacy and accompaniment, support when navigating complex systems (like government and legal) and community agencies, and appropriate referrals based on needs. An outreach worker can meet in the shelter, an offsite office, or in a safe place in the community. Serves Adams Lake, Chase, Enderby, Salmon Arm, Scotch Creek, Sicamous, Sorrento, and surrounding communities. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety.
