Parent Education and Peer Support (PEAPS) Family Resource Program

Offers a drop-in program for families with children up to age six that includes weekly educational sessions on topics that support the healthy development of young children and families; children are offered unstructured play time and snacks. Topics cover healthy eating, injury prevention, and multiculturalism. Program hours are 12 noon to 2 pm Wednesdays for PEAPS Cloverdale (at Cloverdale Recreation Centre, 6188 176 Street, Surrey); and 9:30 am to 11:30 am Thursdays and Fridays for PEAPS Whalley (12740 102 Avenue, Surrey). Funded by Public Health Agency of Canada as a Community Action Program for Children.
