Provides recreation and cultural services in the City of New Westminster. Indoor facilities include gymnasiums, fitness centres, swimming pools, ice rinks, pottery studios, art studios, dance studios, multipurpose rooms, climbing wall, a theatre, preschools, child care facilities, family centres, youth centres, and seniors centres. Centres include t?m?sew?tx? Aquatic and Community Centre, Century House, Moody Park Arena, Queen's Park Arena, Queen's Park Sportsplex, New West Youth Centre, and Queensborough Community Centre. Also offers recreation, social, and cultural programs for all ages and abilities, including children, youth, families, seniors, and people with disabilities. Provides community events, public access computers, and park and field allocation. Provides the Parks and Recreation Financial Assistance Program which offers eligible residents a 50 percent fee discount on eligible registered programs.
