Service Description
Provides free individual and group counselling for children ages three to 12 who have been exposed to family violence. Helps children understand their emotions, discuss their trauma, develop a safety plan, recognize their strengths, increase their self-confidence, and understand that they are not responsible for the violence. Let It Out is an interactive eight-week online group that supports children ages nine to 11 years to build resiliency, learning coping strategies, emotional expression and connection. Also provides individual and group support for the non-offending parent and caregivers. Offers school-based educational activities designed to prevent. Accepts referral from self or other. Serves Burnaby. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
