PEACE (Prevention, Education, Advocacy, Counselling and Empowerment) Program for Children and Youth Experiencing Violence - South Okanagan

Provides free individual and group counselling for children and youth ages five to 18 who have been exposed to family violence. Individual counselling sessions and age-specific group sessions will assist children and youth in finding healthy ways to cope with their emotions and understand that they are not responsible for the violence. Also provides individual and group support for the non-offending parent and caregivers. Offers community education and school presentations. Accepts referral from self or from other agencies. Serves Cawston, Hedley, Kaledon, Kerameos, Marron Valley, Naramata, Okanagan Falls, Oliver, Osoyoos, Peachland, Penticton, Princeton, and Summerland. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
