PEACE (Prevention, Education, Advocacy, Counselling and Empowerment) Program for Children and Youth Experiencing Violence - Squamish

Provides free individual and group counselling for children and youth ages three to 18 who have been exposed to family violence and/or high conflict through separation and divorce. Helps children and youth understand their emotions, develop a safety plan, recognize their strengths, increase their self-confidence, and understand that they are not responsible for the violence or conflict in their lives. Also provides individual and group support for parents and caregivers. Serves Lions Bay and Squamish. Program hours vary. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General.
