Peardonville House Treatment Centre

The 10-week Intensive Recovery Treatment (IRT) Program is a 28-bed residential program for women who are seeking to break the cycle of substance use and build a strong foundation for long term recovery. Referrals are accepted from service providers, including addictions counsellors, mental health clinicians, outreach workers, and community support workers, and must be submitted through Central Access. The Moms and Tots Program supports up to six women who are seeking recovery while caring for their young children and is designed for mothers who wish to strengthen their recovery and become stable, healthy members of their families and communities. Open referral. Both programs offer a structured therapeutic environment and incorporate holistic, biopsychosocial, and 12-step approaches. Program services include screening and assessment, individual and group counselling, trauma-informed counselling support, individualized treatment planning, relapse prevention, life management and life skills development, an on-site gym, meditation, yoga, and art therapy. A licensed on-site childcare centre accommodates up to eight children from infancy to five years of age. Mobility can be accommodated. Smoking is permitted. Accepts women on methadone maintenance. Funded by Fraser Health.
