Peer Support Program

Provides support to individuals impacted by mental illness who require help in resolving issues or concerns they may have in dealing with areas of their daily live such as: income assistance applications and appeals, government and agency forms and requirements, tenancy issues, making appointments, finding information, financial matters, connecting to services, and more. Offers outreach to psychiatric and correctional facilities. Referral accepted from self or other. Keeping in Touch offers a weekly social telephone call from a peer worker to individuals ages 18 and up who would like to keep in touch and find out what is happening in the community. An application form is available online. Referral required from a psychiatrist, physician, clinician, or service provider; may accept self-referral on a case-by-case basis. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Serves Prince George.
