Promotes queer and trans health and provides sex and harm reduction education to reduce HIV, hepatitis C and other sexually transmitted infections in the Southern Vancouver Island communities of gender and sexual minorities. Offers group support and workshops including; wellness groups, and a peer leadership program. The Gender Variant Drop-In Group is a monthly drop-in space for trans, non-binary, genderqueer, Two Spirit, and otherwise gender variant individuals. Queerabilities, provided in partnership with the Victoria Disability Resource Centre, provides a lightly-moderated weekly check-in for 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals who also live with mental and/or physical disabilities/chronic illness, and/or identify as disabled, regardless of a formal or self-diagnosis. Also offers individual support from a Wellness Educator, outreach and harm reduction supplies, drop-in STI testing and PrEP nights; and 2SLGBTQIA+ cultural safety training for service providers, with a focus on those working in health fields.
