Assists individuals in Port Alberni who are homeless or at immediate risk of becoming homeless, as well as those that are chronically or episodically homeless, to find housing. Provides access to housing, support, life skill development, and urgent/basic need items. Also provides food hampers and hygiene kits. KUU-US Crisis Line Housing Registry provides an online housing registry that is updated weekly. Potential renters should contact the program to access the accommodation that is the best fit. Landlords can call to advertise housing on the registry, and are the sole deciding factor for tenancy approvals.
