Service Description

Provides a non-smoking, temporary environment for people to safely sober up, with a maximum stay of 23 hours; 20 male beds, four female beds, and one flexible room separate from the mainstream client population are available. Serves individuals who are age 16 and over who are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs; age exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis. Showers, resource information, and snacks are available. Clients must not be experiencing withdrawal from substances, and not require acute medical or psychiatric treatment; does not accept aggressive or combative individuals. Free service with voluntary admission. Accepts self-referrals. Wheelchair accessible. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday; intake and program hours are 24 hours daily.
