Provides quick access to a one-time consultation with a psychiatrist and nurse for adults with mild to moderate mental health conditions. The psychiatrist will provide family doctors and nurse practitioners with a report outlining recommendations for client treatment, medications, and/or diagnoses. Referral required from a general practitioner or nurse practitioner; appointments are generally scheduled within two to five weeks from the time of referral. Offered at Mental Health and Substance Use Centres in Abbotsford, Burnaby, Chilliwack, Delta, Langley, Mission, New Westminster, Port Coquitlam, and White Rock; see website for location addresses and contact info.
