Refugee and Immigrant Specialized Experience Program (RISE)

Provides case management settlement services for vulnerable immigrants and refugees (convention refugees and protected persons) experiencing multiple and complex barriers to settlement. Serves adults and youth ages 13 to 24 in Delta, Langley, and Surrey. Follows a trauma-informed, client-centred approach that includes outreach, one-on-one support, and accompaniments to help vulnerable adults and youth. Wraparound service includes intake and assessment, case management, social and emotional support, settlement counselling and information, life skills development, and practical assistance. Clients also have access to individual and group mental health supports. Referral required; referral form can be accessed online. Services are available in Arabic, Burmese, Dari, French, Karen, Kirundi, Kinyamulenge, Kinyarwanda, Pashto, Rohingya, Spanish, and Swahili. Funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
