Provides information on housing options for Nanaimo seniors ages 55 and over to help older adults find and maintain safe and appropriate housing. Offers information on tenancy rights and the Residential Tenancy Act of BC, supports people in interactions with rental organizations, helps navigate program applications and registration, provides advice on self-advocacy and conflict resolution strategies when issues arise, and provides mediation and problem-solving services to help resolve disputes. Also represents the needs of local seniors in community meetings and task forces. Serves Nanaimo. Office hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Thursday.
