Recreational and social programs for seniors age 55 and over. Includes bus trips, special events, and in-house programs. Also offers Mind and Body Fitness for People with Dementia, an interactive program for people with early stage dementia; takes place Mondays from 1 pm to 3 pm at the John Braithwaite centre; registration required. The JBCC Bistro offers lunch between 11:45 am and 1 pm at the John Braithwaite centre for the price of $6 (includes coffee or tea); soups and sandwiches are served Wednesdays, and a full hot entree and dessert are served on Fridays.
