Seniors Social Prescribing Program
Connects Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows older adults to local, non-clinical services that will help them better manage their health and well-being. The prescription may include physical activities, social activities, nutrition/food security programs, caregiver programs, and opportunities to access services in the community. Services may include banking help, transportation, paperwork assistance, parking passes, legal advocacy, and access to financial assistance. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by Ministry of Health (MOH) and managed by United Way BC.
