Provides free counselling to children and youth ages five to 19 where sexual abuse is confirmed or suspected. Program includes assessment, treatment, and support services for the children and for non-offending family members. Also provides one-to-one counselling for children up to age 12 who display sexualized behaviour. Teaches safety skills and uses expressive arts therapy to help children recover from the trauma of sexual abuse, expand their ability to communicate verbally and non-verbally, and to realize their potential. Referral accepted from self or other. Serves Colwood and Victoria. Hours vary. Funded by Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
