Provides a range of appropriate and free educational and therapeutic treatment (which may include individual counselling and/or family support) and/or other support services to children and youth ages three to 18 years of who have experienced sexual abuse. Also provides assessment and treatment services to children under the age of 12 who exhibit sexual behaviour problems. Employs child-focused, strength-based interventions using a variety of expressive therapies and counselling approaches. Accepts referral from self or other. Registration is required. Serves Comox Valley (Comox, Courtenay, and Cumberland), and north to Oyster Bay and south to Fanny Bay. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
