Sexual Assault Response Program

Offers free and confidential services for anyone on the North Shore age 13 or older, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, or life circumstance, who has experienced sexual violence in some capacity. Offers immediate crisis response for support and/or hospital or RCMP/police accompaniment; also offers follow-up victim services support sessions for survivors. Support services include support and stabilization; general information about sexual violence and criminal justice; safety planning; criminal justice support including police reporting and court accompaniment; assistance with Crime Victims Assistance Program (CVAP) applications; referrals to in-house counselling; and training and workshops for education and prevention. Phone service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Serves North Vancouver District, City of North Vancouver, West Vancouver District, Lions Bay, and Bowen Island. Operated in partnership with North Shore Crisis Services Society, and after-hours phone support by Sage Transition House. Funded by Province of BC.
