Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) - Victoria

Provides confidential services to recent survivors of sexual assault, including crisis support and connections to community resources 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Services include immediate emotional support and information to people of all genders, ages 13 and older, who have been sexually assaulted within the past 30 days. Also facilitates accompaniment to hospital, medical services, and/or police, as requested by the survivor (available up to seven days after the assault). Call Vancouver Island Crisis Line (1-888-494-3888) and request to speak to a VSAC support working in Victoria to access service. Response provided collaboratively with Forensic Nurse Examiners, Island Health, RCMP, and police.
