Provides free programs that helps newcomer immigrants individuals and families integrate into life in Canada. Includes weekly conversation clubs, monthly social and educational events, and courses. Participants must be permanent residents. Social and educational events include activities such as local guided hikes, cultural celebrations, and workshops on employment and volunteering. Events happen at various locations throughout Vancouver and Burnaby; registration is required for each event. Accepts participants year-round; must be a permanent resident, a convention refugee, or in Canada under CUAET (Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel). Funded by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship (IRCC).
