Provides intensive, individualized support services to families where children are at risk of removal, have been removed, or where reunification of the family is being considered. Works with families (including in remote communities) to promote healthy lifestyle choices and assist families in their role as primary caregivers. Services include parenting group sessions, talking circles, group trainings, supervised visits, and referrals to other services in the community. Referrals accepted from Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). Serves Prince George and surrounding area. Office hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday; program hours vary depending on family needs. Funded by MCFD.
