Sources FASD Key Worker Services - Island

Service Description

Provides information, advocacy, and support to families who have a child or youth under 18 years of age, who may have Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and other complex developmental behaviour conditions, or where there is a confirmed diagnosis. Works directly with parents and caregivers to support skill-building, and provide parent support, community education, and assistance with the FASD assessment process. Accepts referral from self or other. Serves Parksville and area. Office hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).
