Sources Youth Services - Surrey/White Rock

Provides services for children and adolescents who are experiencing mental health, emotional, and behavioural issues. Mental Health Child and Youth Program offers 12 sessions of outreach support to children and youth in North Surrey, Cloverdale, Guildford, and Newton. Accepts referrals for children and youth ages six to 18 from Child and Youth Mental Health clinicians at MCFD. Youth Justice Program/1:1 Mental Health Support provides intensive clinical support and supervision for youth serving a probationary sentence. Accepts referrals from youth probation officers. The Lilac Place offers a four-month residential service for youth ages 12 to 18 who are experiencing intense and protracted conflict with their parents. Youth stay in the residence during the week and go home on weekends. Services include family therapy, youth worker support, and community outreach. Also offers an after-care program with family counselling and parent support. Referrals are through Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). Serves Delta, Langley, Surrey, and White Rock. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded by MCFD.
