Provides support, resources, and referral for child care providers and families. Services for parents include information about child care and the child care subsidy, help finding child care, referral to community resources, and educational opportunities. Also offers services to child care providers, including start-up and administrative information, registry listing, home visits, workshop and networking opportunities, and access to a toy and resource library. Serves the South Peace area (Chetwynd, Dawson Creek, Doe River, East Pine, Groundbirch, Lone Prairie, Moberly Lake, Pouce Coupe, Rolla, Shearer Dale, and Tumbler Ridge). Hours are 8:30 am to 5 pm Mondays, Tuesday, and Thursdays, 8:30 am to 6:30 pm Wednesdays, 8:30 am to 2:30 pm Fridays, and 9 am to 1 pm Saturdays. Funded by Ministry of Education and Child Care.
