Special Investigations Section (SIS)

A dedicated team of police officers with specialized training investigate allegations of current sexual assault and ensures survivors are cared for with the best trauma-informed practices. Also investigates historical sexual assault cases. Works in partnership with local victim services and healthcare providers.
