Offers free individual and group counselling to adult women who have a history family violence, sexual assault, and/or witnessed domestic violence. Sufficient safety and stabilization are required for applicants who are in recovery from substance abuse. A telephone interview is conducted to determine eligibility. Serves Burnaby; service is open to New Westminster residents if there is a history of childhood sexual abuse. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG) as a Stopping the Violence (STV) Counselling Program.
